Blurr - End of Year Show

My photographic process looks at the concept of capturing an ephemeral moment in nature, seeing place as a vessel for personal story and emotion. In the harshness of the Tasmanian landscape there is a deep sense of belonging to place and time stood still. A trace of nature can be representative of a complicated, tangled memory.

We hold so much value to certain places and we can start to see our lives refected and symbolised - whether it be in the break of a wave or harshness of a rock, stood against time; there is a sense of peace.
